Camille has an excellent process for helping clients organize and 'tidy up' their living spaces. She starts by talking with you about your goals before doing anything else. Once you agree to a plan, she conceives and implements as much as you wish. She will also provide guidance and 'homework' if that's your preference.
Camille organized and rearranged two rooms that are considered my domain - our laundry room and my office.
The laundry room changed from a messy disaster area to a logical and functional layout. The towels are all stored by size and function. All of the cleaning supplies are in the same area (which is a big improvement). Everything now has a home, so we can put it away when we're done using something.
She also took on my home office, which had been our clutter collection site for a while. She started the process by suggesting that I go through everything on the bookcases and hauling out all the drawers, files, boxes and random items for evaluation. Only after we decided something would stay was I able to put it back in the office. The bookcase is now organized by category and by author within each category. There are new shelving units that she arranged to separate my souvenirs and memorabilia into logical and neatly placed sections.
To top off her skills, Camille is also an incredibly friendly and fun person to be around. I can't imagine anyone better suited to help those of us with excessive clutter and limited organizational vision to get over the hump and get things tidied up!

I was fortunate enough to be the highest bidder and “win” 6 hours of organization time with Tidy Up by Camille at a silent auction at my children’s school. Camille immediately contacted me and we set up a time to meet and look at the area we were going to tackle.
I chose the room in our house that brought me the stress simply by walking by it - the room we lovingly called “the boys’ room” where my sons (and their friends) would play video games or hang out. Even though my kids are all teenagers now, the room was still filled with containers of toys and games, and the built-in shelves were still filled with dozens of picture books. The other part of the room contained old art supplies, some school/office supplies, and our printers (though only one of them still worked).
Tidy Up by Camille flew in like my own personal superhero. From the moment Camille stepped into the room, I could immediately see her visualizing ways to make sense of the cluttered mess around her. Camille was extremely kind and non-judgmental about the current state of the room, and she talked me through making decisions about what to keep, donate, or trash. Camille’s compassionate nature and her initial thoughts on what the room could be set me at ease, and I was excited to begin.
Organization day arrived and Camille was prompt and arrived with the new baskets/containers/decor we had previously agreed to use in the space. She greeted my hesitant, nervous expression with her warm smile and calming voice.
One of my favorite parts of this experience was that Camille quickly moved all of the things that were not staying in the room - she filled the back seat and trunk of her car with crates of stuff to be donated, brought the things I believed needed to be kept in the off chance “my kids may want them one day” to the attic, and took the trash outside. Having all of those things handled and out of sight made it much easier to focus on the organizational aspect.
Despite my mental overload and my quickly diminishing energy, Camille was an organizational machine and kept going. Before I knew it, the room had transformed into an organized, teenage-friendly space the kids could enjoy, and I could walk past without having to avert my eyes. Without the clutter, it’s probably my most favorite room in the house where I occasionally go to sit and relax (and no one thinks to look for me in that room when they need me for something).
I highly recommend Tidy Up by Camille. Camille made this daunting task I avoided for years feel manageable and easy (we even finished the project with almost an hour to spare).
